My computer screen this very minute:

So as you can see, I am frantically working to get this thing up and running for the public by TODAY. But maybe not this MORNING. Maybe this afternoon??
I REALLY want/need to debut my NEW IMPROVED PROFESSIONAL WEBSITE as soon as possible. March 1st was my goal. And then March 1st ended up being a Sunday. So then March 2nd became my launch date.... And that is.... well, TODAY. (12:14. I really need to get to bed earlier than this. Especially since Noah has decided to get up an hour earlier each morning lately. Yikes.)
So. Here is your sneak peek. You ARE looking at the home page of my website.... just.... minus a few important things. Like PHOTOGRAPHS!
So tune in here later this afternoon, and you will see the new chapter of my life debuted right here. Today.
(Eeep!)

P.S. How cool is that screen capture shot? Do YOU know how to do that? If not, it is a fun trick to have in your repertoire. You just hit the "Print Scr" button on your keyboard (mine is up on the command key row--after "F12"...). Then you go to Photoshop and start a NEW document. When it prompts you with dimensions, don't change the ones that are set there. Just hit "Okay". Then, when the blank white square opens, go and hit "paste". And your "Print Screen" capture will show up! Flatten it, save it, and voila! You have a low-resolution copy of whatever was on your entire computer screen at the moment you captured it.
See? Don't say I never taught you anything.
Okay. I have GOT to go to bed. Website tomorrow (today). Beckie tomorrow!! Woo-hoo!!!

I'm so excited for you! Can't wait. You are such a hard, dedicated worker.
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute! I love this post...and everything is going to go smoothly and perfectly...no matter WHICH day you actually launch.
ReplyDeleteWednesday is a nice day of the week, especially if it is a less stressful day than Tuesday ;)
ReplyDeleteJust think of all the suspense you'd be creating! Good marketing!
It's gonna be great!
Wait a minute, I meant Monday vs. Tuesday, didn't I? See, I don't even know what day it IS, so definitely don't rush on my account!
ReplyDelete;)
Looking forward to the debut, whenever that may be. And yes, I Skype and I love it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats... :-)
Did you get my email? I'm afraid it didn't go through because I'd not heard back from you. It was all about your site too. If you didn't get it, try emailing me and I'll send a test. Don't worry, I'll resend it from home if I have to.
ReplyDeleteI just recently discovered on my laptop a smaller version of the "prtsc" (that's how my keyboard abbreviates it) trick, called a "snipping tool" - I can outline just an area of the screen that I want to capture and a little edit screen pops up. There's more, but that's not as interesting :-)
ReplyDeleteAnyway - see you soon...
