When Noah wakes in the morning, he is SO full of sunshine and big, dimply grins. Really, what more can a girl ask for? I am so blessed to have my little attic full of light and love... Joe giving me lingering hugs, Noah giving me sparkling smiles... All of us with bedhead and a whole day in front of us to just love on each other...
My life IS pretty blessed.
And thank you, friends, for letting me be "blah" here and there. It's kind of isolating to be home for days on end with a teeny new baby, so this is kind of my "girls night out" chat, or my "lunch date gossip session"... With virtual friends to talk it out with. So, thanks. I'm feeling better. We're not just going to be okay, we're going to be AMAZING. Frankly, it doesn't get much better than this:

*see what I mean?*
Oh he is so stinkin cute and he is so big! :( I have missed out on a ton while being here! I am sorry about your hard time in the last post. I can kinda relate. Aaron did pretty poorly sometimes in school and wanted to quit. It is scary and daunting to wonder what the future holds but I know you guys will be fine and successful at whatever you choose to do. I miss you tons and can't wait to see you.
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't get much better than that... talk about having joy in yur posterity! Oh, he's a cutie patootie and so is your voice!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you - blogging is like my coffee chats, lunch dates, and late night reprieves with my girls. I'm glad that you and I can get to know each other across the states and through the net without worry of our own crazy schedules!
ReplyDeleteI miss those days of gurgles and new faces, and breathlessness. I felt like I could sit and stare for hours - I feel that way with Noah too. he's a gem.
Oh Emily...he is absolutely edible! I love his coos and excited little noises. He is such a doll! Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog. I can't believe we've only been around each other in person for that one week (almost?) in the Tetons. I , too, feel like I know you so much better. Don't you just love blogs for that? I'm so glad we're both married in to such a wonderful family! I think you are so talented and artistic! I love getting a peek in to your life with your sweet Joe and darling Noah. Thanks for sharing it with us!
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
Lauren

ReplyDeleteand i am SO wanting to know what that mean person said on your other post. i move and i miss out!!! and blogging is my outlet in my fairly isolated military life. because of it, i don't lose my mind...
Yeah, that's one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Those coos just get your heart and squeeze. What a sweet boy! I'm glad I get to experience him virtually. THanks for sharing!
