This Is Why:

Sunday, February 10, 2008

This little stinker is why I've been fantasizing of beds and pillows and down comforters and naps and sleeping in and 14-hour slumbers and on and on...

Poor little guy has a bit of a fever, and it's been a LOOOOONG, not-so-sleepful weekend.

Still, I wouldn't trade him for anything.
My little jellybean.

(But I WILL take anyone up on an offer of a hotel room for me and a 14-hour babysitting gig for Noah...)

  2. Sorry about the lack of sleep - we've been there! But that precious face makes it easier, doesn't it?

  3. Ooh, I'm so glad it wasn't MY bugs that got him sick. I would feel horrible. Sick kids are no fun. Although it does make mine a little more cuddly than usual. Good luck, snag some sleep when you can.

bailey was 13 months old the first time we got to leave for a weekend... we had a wedding out of town and she got to stay at my parent's house. the first night there we were supposed to stay out with the wedding party but we ditched them and i think we were asleep by 9pm and didn't get out of bed until lunch! that was the last time we were able to do that and i still dream about it!

  8. Lack of sleep is the worst and having a sad little sick baby is so sad. I hope he gets feeling better and sleep no longer eludes you and him.

  9. Isn't it amazing how much you can still love them even though you feel like you'll never have a real night's sleep again? He is so precious!
