I feel overwhelmed by my life... feel it spiraling out of my control...

So forgive my non-post. I have no new photos to share, and no inspiring stories. I'm just trying to keep my head above water... slowly doggie-paddling to the distant shore that is the end of the school year.

I'll try to wave along the way without drowning.

GLURB...LL...GGG...LUGGG.....LLLRRRGGG...LLL...

  2. Ah, honey, I'm right there with you. I wake up every day with the countdown in my head. And as much as I'm missing my kiddos, I miss my husband too. Please know you aren't alone, but that you can and ARE making it through this!

  3. Hang in there. We all know, to some degree, what you are going through. My thoughts are with you! And don't worry about us. Your blog should be at the bottom of the worry list :)

  4. Oh Em,

Now it is my turn to 'feel your pain'. I am so sorry that you are "hurting" so badly... I know that "pain" and I am sorry you are having to go through it.

Use my trick - Find your "rose", even if it is just a small bloom. Once you find it/them, try your best to focus on it. It really does help to make things less overwhelming... (I would not lie to you).

If you need a "pep talk", call me. I am always here for you!!!!

    I (we) love you

I'm with you...and the shoreline doesn't seem like it's getting any closer. But we've really only got 20-something days left (when is your last day? mine's the 29th...)

"just keep swimming, just keep swimming..." (thanks Dory)

    Love you-
    Julina

  10. Emily: you are liek the queen of cupcakes, really I should cut some out and send to you... ooh, maybe I could use some of your designs to design paper cupcakes... I'll try that later! Then you could have low-calorie cupcakes forever! (just what every post-pregnancy diet really needs!

  11. I wish I had some sage advice, but all I can think of is "one day at a time." Blech, but summer will be here before you know it.

  12. Dang, baby, I'm so sorry you're feeling cruddy. I'm way bummed I missed you yesterday! Call me if you have a chance to catch up again. :)

Did you give any thought to a National Scrapbooking Weekend get-together? We can shop a bit, take a walk in the gardens and you can forget about your "week"-life...sit somewhere outside, sip lemonade, and coo at that beautiful baby of yours...

In the meantime, if you haven't already seen it, here's a diversion: go to stephenie meyer's website & the 'other projects' tab, then to 'midnight sun' to read the first chapter of twilight told from edward's p.o.v. I can't believe I hadn't read it or heard about it yet!
