This is My Goal Today:

Thursday, January 29, 2009

Yikes. Seriously.

Joe has Noah and they have gone to play at the Science Center, so I am on my own with my Wintry Mix CD blaring and I have a job to do. If all goes well, I'll be back later tonight to update this frightening post with a new, better, TIDIER photo.

Cross your fingers.

And toes.

I'm out.

  1. Good luck! I was going to clean house today, but my sister has lost her electricity and is going to be staying the night with her two kiddos. Once her kids and mine get together, there is not such thing as a clean house. I might as well not even start. It'll just frustrate me later! :)

  2. Simple solution...lighter fluid and renters insurance. It's always been my own personal dream each time a move/room-cleaning looms ahead.

  5. It doesn't look that bad. I love the desk everything is sitting on. It is pretty. I also like the suitcase looking thing on there too. I hope that your music inspired you to do great things. Today I tried, but my kiddles wouldn't take a nap. Thanks for coming over the other day. It was fun.

  8. Well, you can do what I do: just ignore it until everything there has become completely outdated and/or irrelevant, then just throw it away or recycle it...

Okay, who am I kidding? I am a pretty bad pack rat who tends to hang onto things, even when they should be thrown away/recycled. I always have that nagging idea that I should keep it, "just in case." (though, to quote the cop from "Clue," "Just in case of what?" Honestly... when am I going to ever need a lot of those things that still sit in piles or boxes in my closet?)

Well, good luck on your end. My end never ends, so I'll just keep ignoring it or shifting it into new piles of essentially the same things...

    Have fun.

  9. I am right there in the thick of it with you sista! I am a sorting, purging, donating, selling, reorganizing, categorizing maniac this week.

Hope that you're sitting at your (clean) desk with a nice cup of hot chocolate tonight.
