Quick Question, Dear Readers:

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

I've had a couple of complaints about not being able to leave a comment. If you have a minute, would you be willing to try to leave a comment on this post? Even if you're a Super Lurker, you can just say "Hi. Testing". or something like that...

I want to know what the issue is! If you have even MORE than a minute, and you are one of the ones who CAN'T leave a comment, please feel free to shoot me an email at southerlandgirl at yahoo dot com to let me know, otherwise, well.... how will I know? Right? Haha!

If you wanna still just lurk, that's fine, too... I just want to be able to facilitate comments if people are wanting to leave them now and again, and if something is amiss, I want to get to the bottom of it.

And if you have "comment anxiety", like what to say? Just tell me the first name of your first crush and one thing you loved about him/her. Sound like fun?

here's mine:

Stephen. 1st grade. He had the most perfect hair. And a distinguished last name.

Okay, GO!

  2. Is it the same Stephen I'm thinking of? I don't think he was my *first* crush, but I definitely thought he was HOT!
Hmmm... Maybe he technically WAS my first crush, too- I just remember that my first BIG crush was Mike (you know the one!). I loved his slightly olive complexion and wavy dark hair!

(I hope this helps somehow! ;)

  6. I've had issues with more than one blog with blogger not recognizing my login, so I copy my entries to the clipboard before I try to submit them, just in case it does get erased in the process...
Don't know if that's what other people are encountering, and we'll see what happens with this comment when I hit "publish"... but first, C...

Yeah, I didn't have to hit V to paste my text, but here's the message I got the first time I hit "publish":
There was an error processing this form. Please try again.

So I'm gonna put my password in again and try again

  15. Devon. We went to Montessori together and when I was 5 I made him kiss me in the corner of the playground behind the apple trees. Yep. I was a slut in kindergarten.

  16. hey good lookin'. what's cookin'? Just thought I'd say that. My first crush, eh? Danny Rymer. We exchanged school pictures. We liked to play "farmer in the dell". That was it. No more. No less. I still have his picture he gave me. LOTS of freckles and crooked teeth. But then again...who doesn't have crooked teeth (some big, some small) when you're in FIRST GRADE???

(ps- I got the same error message Julina got the 1st time I tried posting this comment....2nd time, here goes!)

  18. Never had any problems leaving you comments. I was in love with Chris in 5th grade. Asked him out 19 times. 18 of them were through a friend. :) He said no all 19 times. I think he regretted it in high school. :)

  25. Commenting without a problem. (although I wonder if it's more a question of people not realising that to comment they need to click 'I Love Comments!'. I read, write and comment on a lot of blogs and I must confess it took me a couple of moments to realise that this was the right link for leaving you a comment. 'Leave a comment' might be more obvious? Just a thought.)

  29. Probably Alex... Taller than me with brown hair and glasses.. Oddly enough pretty much an exact description of my husband Dave! Funny how our taste stays the same.

BTW... LOVING our proofs!! The best part? We had a blast taking them with you and there is nothing better than seeing my boys smile! Will cherish them forever. Now for which ones to order... Hmmmm? Choices, choices!

  31. Parker Smith from primary (8-12yo). He was so gorgeous and had the most beautiful voice- Especially when he sang "a child's prayer", "baptism", and that boy song that starts... "Tho a boy I may appear, yet a man I soon will be...." My heart still skips a beat.

  32. 1st grade- Chad G. He had the best smile, and he was the fastest runner in the whole school! ;)

  33. It seems to be working for me! If you remember the Indiana 2Peas GTG at Jeannette's studio back in February (I think) I met you there...I was the one that was "completely lost" as far as the exposure triangle goes. You were kind enough to step down to my level and explain things to me. I am most appreciative for that help and keep practicing what you explained.

  34. Hi Emily, I also met you at 2peas in Feb. I was the whacked out, overly excited chic that came with Jen. Im really not like that, I was just super...nervous? But Im not a nervous chic, so I'll blame it on too much coffee that morning..lol
Anyway, I have been meaning to tell you how much I appreciate your talk that day, and would love to chat more. Perhaps Jen and I can meet you half way somewhere for sammies? Let me or Jen know what you think...Thanks..Hope this comment made it...
