But at least you have the Machine! Lately, I've been itching to obtain a good sewing machine (whenever I get one, I want it to be good, not a cheap one that will break down within five years...). In my de-cluttering, I discovered yards of different fabrics that had inspired me once upon a time. As I looked at those yards of untamed fabric, I began to feel inspired again to create.... something, I'm not sure what. However, I need the machine to truly begin anything...
Cluttered or no, I still love your little sewing nook! :)
Just so you know, you can still sew when your sewing area looks like that. I finished up a little project myself tonight. Let's just gloss over the fact that we had to move the sewing table pile to the bed. And that it took half a dozen armloads to get it done. And that instead of putting things back in an organized fashion, I just dumped it all right back on the table. Bottom line is, my table looks way worse than yours but I made a Buttercup bag tonight. Sometimes just getting that first project completed from start to finish can help you get your sewing mojo back. That, and a deadline. ;) <3 ya!
Yeah, I dream of a clear sewing table and inspiring place. Somehow fixing my own little messes takes a backseat to all the "other". Maybe pop the sewing machine to the dining room table for a night...

My sewing table looks like that too. So I moved my machine off of it and started using my kids art table. Hahaha.
