Felt Valentine's Wreath: Swoon!

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Finished last night...
Copied from my friend Andi, who hasn't blogged hers yet.
Less than $12 to make.
Lush, rich, texture-y felt for miles...

Valentine's Day is here early in our house.

(Ohmigosh, just googled "felt wreath" to see if I could send y'all to a tutorial or six... and what a mistake!! I might be folding felt til I die, now, with all these gorgeous takes on this technique!!! AAACK!!

Like HERE, for a wintery version.
Or THIS????? LOVE it more than life.
HERE'S the original I think Andi found.
THIS?? Not the same technique, but still felt. I WANT THIS.
THIS? Now I'm just getting off on a tangent...

I gotta stop...

Ha ha!! Now go make your own!!)

  1. Love it - I'm envisioning a green one with spots of yellow for spring. And the felt ball wreath was what my class was going to do for our auction project until the roving cot turned out to be too prohibitive for our timeline. I still want to do one for home, though!

Thanks for the adorable ideas! My little sewing club on Thursdays uses much of what you make for our inspiration, just thought you'd like to know!

  7. It's adorable! I love it and totally want to make one for me... and maybe my family too. But... is it time consuming?

I'm still trying to figure out how you have enough time to do what you to. You're amazing Mama!

  12. I love the texture of it - I just want to put my fingers in it and maybe rub, maybe squeeze, maybe just leave one hand on it while I "work" with the other one... :-)
