This is a photo I took yesterday of my friend Maria's daughter. The first one is straight out of the camera-- no photoshopping.
I am playing with some conversions and techniques, and I am afraid that i look at these images so long that I begin to lose objectivity. So I need you to vote on which version of this photo you like best. Plase feel free to tell me why, specifically, your choice speaks to you. I wanna hear ALL Y'ALL's opinions, even if i barely know ya. Seriously!

Thanks for your help! I gotta go to bed!

gorgeous photo! I would say it depends on the look you are going for. #2 looks so whimsy and magical. I also like the one with the green tint ( I forget the #) I am not sure I like the reddish toned one for this particular photo. I think the cool tones are looking the best. Oh and go to http://weedsandwildflowersdesign.typepad.com/ and check out their new kit, it is drop dead gorgeous!!! You should get it and then we should play around with it when we get together to scrap!!! Now tell me to go to bed!
ReplyDeletei like #3. i like how the grass behind her is a light color instead of the darker green. it makes her look more fairy-ish. and her hair is more of a natural color to me than the others.
ReplyDeleteWell, I like the first one because it is the most natural. The last one, with the green, was interesting. But, I liked the natural light looking one the best - the first.
ReplyDeleteI like #3 the best because these are spring pics, her outfit is spring and this photo has the most color and liveliness. Since she is a child I think the darker ones don't have the innocence you want to portray in a pic like this. Great shot. I think it's awesome that you are practicing for our big day. :)
ReplyDeleteI like #4, the colors are bright yet the shadows are still present. I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself too well, but I preferred #4. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI'll throw up a vote for #3... perfect colors, beautiful bright light glinting off her hair... very cute.
ReplyDeleteI choose number 3. Not too overcolored on this one. Very nice.
