Okay, Someone Confess:

Right near my birthday in late June, I received this book in the mail.

...and then a couple of days later, I received this one.

And neither shipment gave any indication of who the book might be from. I certainly don't remember ordering them. And Joe says it wasn't him. And both books were addressed specifically to me, and both from Amazon. So.

I am really excited to read both, and love the idea of getting mystery books in the mail... But it would be a real shame if someone meant to get credit for these and never did. Plus, there's the thank-you card issue.

So. 'Fess up. If you wanna. If not, it will remain a lovely little mystery in my happy little world.

  2. Nope not me, but that reminds me of a funny story. I bought my mother-in-law 'The Secret Life of Bees' and wanted to wait until she got it to let her know it was from me. She got it and read it before I thought she would and was so intrigued by this random man from back east who would send her this great book. She actually wrote him a note thanking him and probing him for more information on himself and his generosity :)
