[my dining room today... perfect!]

something about autumn. It's really here, it's finally here, and I am embracing it full-heartedly.
I bought two lovely scented candles today, mulled cider, and pumpkin spice.

I made pork chops and baked sweet apples for dinner...

I listened to bittersweet instrumental music,
and opened up the windows to feel the cool afternoon air.

I love this.

Renaissance Festival!!

tomorrow joe and I are driving to Columbia to hang with my family... we are going to the corn maze outside of town, (it's a really well-done maze... there is a scavenger hunt thing with it, so you have a goal while you are in there)...
Then on Saturday we are going to Kansas City to the Renaissance Festival! Yay! I love love love the Ren Fest... it is packed with Renaissance-lovin' geeks, (which makes me want to be one sometimes...) has such good food, really great little shops and craftsmen, and the performers are fun, too.

I can't wait!
